Canon USA

Over the course of a year, Wendy produced multiple images for Canon USA’s Shoot for Greatness campaign. Canon selected photographers that had the skills, creativity, and influence to confidently show off notable product features of the EOS Rebel T7i through stunning imagery.

Each photo challenge had a theme like “defying gravity”, “shine in the darkness” or “shining a spotlight”. Wendy brought the camera wither her all over the world and created this set of unique images. The process reminded her that "greatness isn’t something that happens by chance. It requires creative vision, planning. Being at the right place at the right time...with the right camera. Never at the mercy of perfect timing, but in control of it. Greatness is something you shoot for.”

Nomadic Fare x Canon in Switzerland

Nightfall over Zermatt. I'm thrilled to be partnering with @CanonUSA this year to capture some of my best travel moments.
Over the next few months, I'll be stretching myself by showcasing different challenges using the #EOSRebelT7i while hopefully encouraging you to push your creativity and try new techniques like night photography! Anyone else #teamcanon?

Defying gravity with @CanonUSA.
I've really enjoyed my #shootforgreatness photo challenges with Canon these past few months. For this one, I combined a few of the challenges together, like shooting a perfectly timed self portrait and using perspective and light to make a beautiful image. They've reminded me that creativity often requires leaving your comfort zone in order to create something truly special.

Nomadic Fare x Canon in Patagonia

I had been looking forward to ice trekking and couldn’t believe I was finally standing on this 18,000 year old glacier. Having packed light for the day, I brought my @CanonUSA #EOSRebelT7i with an 18-135mm lens knowing it would cover all my bases, from wide landscape shots to close-ups of the ice. The light wasn’t ideal, but I took full advantage of the fierce light—shooting into the sun to create starbursts while using shadows to emphasize dramatic patterns on the ice.

Featuring the Rebel in Alsace, France

The EOS Rebel T7i is a perfect travel companion. I brought it with me on my annual trip to France where I explored the Alsace region, known for their fairytale medieval villages.

The Alsace region is in the northeast part of France. It borders Germany and Switzerland and is a mix of cultures from the various rulers over the years.

Having the lightweight and versatile Rebel was perfect for wandering all the narrow streets while looking for pretty colors, compositions and scenes.
